Schuyler Ministerial Association

The Schuyler Ministerial Association is an ecumenical group of clergy working together for the good of the Schuyler community and surrounding area. Find out more at their website.

Center for Survivors

The Center for Survivors office hours at St. John’s are normally 9-4 every Wednesday, however the office will be closed for the time being, due to the pandemic.  Resources are available relating to domestic abuse.

Colfax County Food Pantry

We have a new location for the food pantry, which is now open to the public.  The pantry is located at 1213 Colfax St. (under the viaduct) and is open most Wednesdays from 5-7:30 pm.  Anyone may come and receive food once per month.  For more information, please click here.

Mobile Food Bank

The Schuyler Mobile Food Bank normally takes place every second Thursday at 4pm at St. John’s Lutheran Church at 821 Denver St. However, due to Covid, the mobile food bank is being held down at the Oak Ballroom. Please note time changes below. All are welcome to receive food. First come, first served.

Coat Closet

The Schuyler Coat Closet is open each year, typically in November-January. This year, the closet will be open from November 2, 2020 through January 31, 2021. Due to the pandemic, the coat closet will now be open by appointment only. To make an appointment, please contact:

The closet is hosted by Christ United Methodist Church, located at 1922 Colfax St. Anyone in need of winter clothing items like coats, hats, scarves, and gloves is welcome to come and receive what they need. For more information, including how to make a donation, please click here.
